Dell Computers officially announced the launch of four low-cost computer models especially designed for the developing economies like China and India. These new merchandise models have been crafted keeping in mind the small business users and have been lined up to be sold out in 20 countries across Australia Asia, Africa and Latin America. Vostro price range will start from $475 for notebook computers and from $440 for desktop PCs.
"These economies are growing so fast that we don't want to miss out on the opportunity," Felice, the President of the company was quoted saying. With an expected turnover of around 20-30% in the coming years, Dell AU is all set to design products as per global requirement. Initiatives have also been taken up by the company to interview prospective customers from the emerging economies and know their needs and requirements.
Not only do Dell accommdate the lower end market they offer dell laptops and dell computers to the middle top end of the market. These computers include the new Dell Studio 15 & 17, Dell XPS Range and the new Dell Inspiron laptop range.
